The Week of 3.17

This is the last week before all the elective courses start, and from next week on, I’ll have to begin my busy learning schedule.

I’ve joined the Foreign Language Association, specifically the External Affairs Department, and from next week on, we’ll be starting our morning reading sessions.. I won’t be able to be as lazy as I was in the spring, and I’ll have to start going to bed early and waking up early every day. Additionally, I’ve heard that joining the association will give me the opportunity to become a high-level volunteer at the Olympics. Well, it’s precisely because of this that I joined without any hesitation.

There hasn’t been much going on with the Curve Chen website lately, and this week I just made some minor modifications to the code. Since the overall structure is written in div+css, it’s relatively easy to make changes. Currently, I have two major tasks at hand: one is to rebuild the homepage, and the other is to redesign and migrate the template for qcblog. Both of these tasks will require some time, and starting from next week, I’ll have to make time to create a detailed plan and then break them down into manageable parts~ Fortunately, Lao Miao didn’t give me a deadline.

Since watching the first episode of Prison Break in my English class last Friday, I’ve become hooked on this American TV series~ Now I’m binge-watching it.. I’m watching the pure English version, and as I watch, I comfort myself by thinking — I’m learning English. I’m learning English.

Tomorrow, our whole class is going to the World Park together. I hope it’ll be somewhat interesting, although it’s probably going to be very boring…

This week, I did something extremely immoral… I used some dirty tricks… and now I’m reflecting on it. If I master these techniques and only use them for personal gain, then it’s not worth learning. I’m praying to God that from now on, I’ll never do such things again..
